I’m a game developer and immersive technology designer focused on building meaningful interactive experiences. My work blends technical development with systems and gameplay design, allowing me to bridge the gap between creative vision and implementation.
Originally from Orlando, Florida, I spent several years in Virginia developing my skills in programming, web development, and immersive technology before returning to Florida to pursue my Master’s degree in Interactive Entertainment at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA) at the University of Central Florida.
Today my work centers on game development, XR applications, and immersive learning experiences. My long term goal is to lead creative teams and build innovative interactive experiences that push the boundaries of games and immersive technology.
My journey into development began when I was 13 years old at a mobile game design camp at Radford University. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion and eventually led to my first internship at 15 with Fat Panda LLC, where I learned web development using HTML, CSS, and Vue.js.
Around that same time I began teaching myself Unity and exploring how games are built inside modern game engines. After graduating high school, I started working at SCiL Labs at Shenandoah University while pursuing a degree in Virtual Reality Design. During that time I contributed to immersive development work, including my first government contract, which helped expand my experience working with Unity and immersive technologies.
After building my foundation in development, I worked professionally across several immersive technology and software roles. I spent over a year working as a junior developer at VOTU LLC, where I continued expanding my development experience and working on production projects.
I later worked at AccessVR LLC as a Unity developer and Lead Lab Technician. In this role I developed VR and XR applications, managed immersive technology demonstrations, and helped train and mentor interns learning Unity development. I also supported client projects, contributed to research and development for emerging technologies, and hosted demonstrations for visitors exploring immersive technology. One of these demonstrations included presenting VR technology to Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.
These professional experiences helped shape my skills as both a developer and designer and strengthened my interest in immersive interactive systems.
Today I am pursuing my Master’s degree at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA), where I focus on game development, technical design, and immersive systems.
Alongside my studies, I work with Ruscella Immersive as a Unity developer and immersive technologist. My work includes building XR applications, experimenting with emerging technologies such as Apple Vision Pro and Needle Engine, and developing immersive experiences for education and research.
I am also the creator and administrator of the NEXTWave Network, a community dedicated to advancing immersive learning and connecting developers, educators, and researchers working in immersive technology.
Across my academic and professional work, I continue exploring how game design, immersive media, and interactive systems can be used to create engaging and impactful experiences.
